Red Rox Sorghum
Quantity: 20 seeds in a packet.
I’ve been growing this Red Rox Sorghum for a couple seasons now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite multipurpose crops. It grows strong and tall here in Florida, handles the heat like a champ, and doesn’t need much water once it’s established.
Sorghum is super versatile — you can:
Juice the canes for sweet syrup
Pop the grains like popcorn
Grind into flour for baking
Use the stalks as animal fodder or mulch
And the seed heads look awesome, even just as fall decorations
It’s also a great crop for soil health and long-term sustainability. Grown naturally, right here in local soil with no chemicals. Just saved seed, patience, and a commitment to growing good food.
If you’re looking for a resilient, useful staple to add to your garden or homestead — give Red Rox a try!
Support local food independence. Let’s keep building those neighborhood supply chains, one crop at a time.
